My Story

Well what can I share with you my reader? I'm 28 year old chef whose sole goal is to understand vast field of cooking. My goal is to understand the very foundations of the craft. I prefer to look at subjects like ratios of ingredients, flavour combinations, role of technique over recipes. To break down the dish into a combination of techniques and combinations of ingredients is how I look at the dish. Other disciplines that I enjoy and think are complimentary to cooking are fashion, music, film, physics and math. My ideas are somewhat new and they are developing as I test them agains the real world.

My other interests include Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, writing code, skiing(I live in British Columbia, Canada), motorcycle riding. Big fan of WWII history.
